You may be looking for something a little more chilled, lyrical or expressive, enabling you to dance more musically to what you hear. You might want to fuse your modern jive with other styles, such as WCS, Tango, and Blues, letting you vary your mood throughout the evening. You could even just be hoping to finish a dance and be able to say to your partner “wow I didn’t know I could dance like that”. If any of these descriptions sound close then Illumination Dance is the place for you to come and dance. We welcome dancers that want to explore musical expression and enjoy music that is always interesting and occasionally challenging. You’ll find dancers of all levels of experience and ability, with the common aim that they enjoy dancing to good music.
