Electronic Dancers Scoring
We looking into using an intuitive way of scoring from both the audience and our judges at the same time. We will be offering an app for your mobile phone, Tablet or Laptop to score on your favourite dancers. A percentage of the scores are for the audience and the remaining is for our judges, Also a paper version will be available for people who don’t have a smartphone.
Open to all ages and styles.
We have categories to cover all ages and dance levels see below for list. This is a competition is judged on being expressive and interpretation to the music not bound to one style or another. but the scoring is on how expressive your dance style is. And the connection between you and your partner, and interpretation, timing and connection to the music.
The event is over One day.
This event is over one day with regular freestyle breaks for the spectators between competitions so they can stretch their legs. we will be running a Friday freestyle to get you in the mood for the weekend, and a multi-room freestyle dance event on Saturday evening. On Sunday the finals, showcases, and finishing off the weekend the presentations.

Luckey Dip / Dance with a stranger
A randomly selected Lead and follow are paired up for the duration of this event. This section is open to all as individuals. No partner is required to enter this category, as we will find one for you. This is (Open to all)
Open
You will be going head-to-head with some of the best dancers in the competition and this will certainly raise your game to a new level.
Freestyle
Freestyle category. This is for 2 levels of dancer, expressive and musical interpretation. The levels are Beginner and Intermediate, This event is restricted. No profecinal dancers, Teachers and demos in this catoragorie
Showcase
This is open to everyone and allows the opportunity to dance and be creative and arrange a mind-blowing performance to your own choreographed routine with the music of your choice and can include multiple persons, up to 3-person max.
DanceVets
This category allows you to level up the playing field and show the audience that there’s nothing better than experience.
Both partners must be at least 55 years of age or older.
Dance with a Pro/Am
This competition is an open Category to dance couples comprising of a non-dance professional i.e. (amateur) and a dance professional where the AM is the lead.
The Amateur and the Dance professional will be judged as a team
The Illumination Final challenge
This is a musical dance with a greater challenge than in previous groupings, to test your abilities and stretch your skill set and push you to the limit.
