Glitz & Glamour Ball – Sat 1st April 2023 at the Corn Exchange, St Ives

Illumination Dance welcomes you to our Glitz & Glamour Ball, a 3-Room with modern jive, expressive, and blues/tango fusion, to be held at the Corn Exchange at St Ives on Saturday 1st April 2023. Dancers rave about our annual New Year’s Eve Eve (NYEE) event on 30^th December, and now our Masquerade Ball and how they’d like us to repeat it more often, and we’ve listened.   Firstly we are running a Licensed Cafe bar at this event, This is being run by the Corn Exchange and will include alcoholic drinks plus tea & coffee all can be purchased from the upstairs Cafe bar. The Corn Exchange has requested, NO personal alcoholic drinks are brought into the venue by our dancers. There were reports of drinks being used and left at our Mask ball in 2022. So please support us and keep this facility available to you, at our main event through 2023 and beyond.    The Event: The Glitz & Glamour Ball is an opportunity for you to dress to impress and join 200 other dancers for a night of great music and dancing.  Hosted at the superb, air-conditioned, Corn Exchange in St Ives, you’ll be treated to a 3-room feast of music, dancing, and food from 8:00 pm all the way through to 1:00 am. Our 3 rooms offer different genres of music with dedicated DJs.  In the Main Hall Pete Shillito and DJ, Neil will be playing both favorite and new modern jive tracks to keep you on the floor all night.  Chris Jones and Dave Ottley will be running the Illumination room upstairs for those that want their music a little more expressive and we’re also lucky to have John Howard join us to run the Alt Tango/Blues fusion room upstairs as well. you’re sure to have a great night of dancing.  And to help you replenish your energy later we’re serving our traditional St Ives food feast at 10:30pm, setting you up for the last 2 hours of dancing.
