We run a regular Expressive Blues class freestyle night 50 weeks of the year at the Corn Exchange, St Ives.
Our classes include a New2Dance class, Smooth class and for the experienced dancers Expressive Modern Blues.
We have a team of teachers with many years of teaching experience plus a qualified teacher trainer.Â
One member of the team is the current World Modern jive master champion, and our team includes several modern jive teachers, a couple of modern blues teachers and a few Expressive teachers plus Smooth jive and tango teachers.
So you couldn't get a better team to teachers, demos and crew in one place, at one time on a regular basis.
We start the evening with a gentle warm up, just to get the blood going which is good for all then we split the classes with New2Jive class in one room and in the main hall we have our Expressive class in the main hall.
All this is on a Monday night in St Ives with our normal starting time at 7:30pm.
We also run special Monday evening events from time to time, such as on a B/H Monday we run an extended freestyle event (Social dancing). with a Class just for the New2Dance customers, and a new2 Expressive 5 week course and also a Workshop Monday which is 2 to 2.5 hrs of workshop style intensive teaching with a freestyle at the end so to hone your skills.
